the Wounded Story
“Whatever wounds us makes us stronger.
Wounded Line Illustrates the artistry of how beautiful an imperfection can be. By embellishing the negative connotaions of something (such as the phrase “wounded”) we then understand the balance once we see the beauty that can come from it and how, sometimes, the wound itself can have grace and elegance. Similar to that of an autumn leaf, the color and decay towards the end of it’s life are sometimes the most celebrated and breathtaking during the season of Fall.
Wounded Line’s Jewelry is a mother and son collaboration combining intentional, organic breakage unfolding into strings of rare and precious stones. Wounded Line is different because it is unaffraid to embellish the human-ness of imperfection. This is something we believe to be beautiful. Cracks and breakage are artistically carved into the jewlery creating an organic nagative space symbolizing where new growth and life are to occur. To symbolize the new growth, as well as what we learn from these wounds, we place precious stones along side these imperfections to embelish the beauty they symbolize.
Our wounds help us to appreciate our growth.
Wounded Line; To be wounded by what’s closest, Powered by the same.”
